Our Lady of Guadalupe School is in the first year of the implementation of our 1:1 Technology Plan. This plan puts technology in the hands of our students to make us 21st Century learners. Currently students in grades 5 and 7 have iPads which travel from school to home daily. The rest of the grades have access to a set of iPads for classroom use as needed. The Computer Lab has been updated with new Chromebooks which each class is scheduled to use weekly. We are using Google Apps for Education which allows our students to work collaboratively or alone at home, at school, or wherever they have access to a device. Ongoing Professional Development for our teachers is a priority as we incorporate the hands-on technology into the everyday curriculum. Our next step is to apply technology to the development of a Science Lab. Every day is a new adventure.
